attract hummingbirds will be the side effect of your garden, a very welcome side effect

One of the benefits of creating a garden is that it will attract hummingbirds, you will to be able to see hummingbirds keep on coming back for more food.

Since hummingbirds subsist primarily on the nectar that they glean from flowering plants, along with various types of insects that they catch in their bills, the relationship between hummingbirds and the flowers on which they feed is an intimate and an ancient one.

On seeing this lovely little creature moving on humming winglets through the air, suspended as if by magic in it, flitting from one flower to another, with motions as graceful as they are light and airy, pursuing its course over our extensive continent, and yielding new delights wherever it is seen.

Hummingbirds must have prodigious memories, for they are known to return to the same nesting and nectar-gathering sites year after year. In time, you may get to know the hummingbirds in your garden as individuals, even as families.

Indeed, whether you live in the country, the suburbs, or the city; whether your garden is in the mountains, on the desert, or by the seashore; whether you reside in Hawaii or Alaska; you can plant a wide variety of common garden plants, wildflowers, shrubs, vines, and trees whose flowers provide nectar for the hummingbirds that migrate to or are local residents of that region.

Here, I just write about hummingbirds, but, you know more there more : Woodpigeon, Robin, Song Thrush, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Magpie, House Sparrow, Goldfinch, Honey Bees, Butterflies, dragonflies, Lady Beetles (ladybug), Lacewings, and lot more I not mentioned or I not know yet.
